Health Screener
Position Summary: As a health screening technician you will be
educating consumers about health awareness. Screenings technicians
will take small blood samples via fingerstick from patients and give
results onsite. Screeners will help to educate customers by
providing testing services, general health awareness and giving test
results for various tests including: Cholesterol, Diabetes, Liver
Function and more. At many events basic health tests are given to
customers for Free paid for by sponsors. However screeners will be
responsible to educate customers on why its necessary to take more
comprehensive tests so they can better assess their health.
Commissions will be paid based upon these sales.
Screenings occur at Major Retail Chains, Pharmacies, Corporations,
Health Fairs etc…

Hours and Days:
Events take place M-S, hours are usually 9am to 5:30pm, but can
vary slightly depending on event. On occasion a special event
may take place on a Sunday.
This position is flexible in
regards to allowing employees to take time off for vacations,
holidays, etc… as long as proper notice is given ahead of time.
Special Circumstances and Flexibility:
This position requires employees to be very flexible on assigned event days. Events may require Supervisors to stay 1 or 2 hours later then expected WITHOUT notice. If your situation does not allow for this
flexibility please do not apply. This is required and cannot be waived.
Travel:
A reliable vehicle is required for this position.
Travel within a 60-mile radius to various job sites is required. On
occasion travel slightly farther than 60-miles may be necessary.
Mileage is paid for any travel further than a 30-mile radius.
This position requires travel to a different job site each day.
Position Responsibilities:
Take customer blood samples and give
results.
Set up equipment plus take down of equipment, tables, flyers/posters
etc.
Help promote area screenings to previous customers.
Responsible for the entire event and any screening representatives
onsite.
Sign and submit time sheets for any screening representatives
onsite.
Coordinate schedule with marketing department and district manager.
Complete and submit necessary event paperwork on a timely basis.
Keep accurate inventory of product (Daily) and supplies (Weekly).
Speak with event manager upon arrival and departure.
Put up and take down event advertising (street signs and banners).
